Our Core Values

FACS exists
to Declare God's power to the next generation one student a time

...this is realized in the life of students and families in four tangible ways:

Reaching Students...      Assisting Parents...       Shaping Society...       One Mind at a Time!

Discipleship:  To teach that the Bible is the inspired and only infallible, authoritative Word of God, thus developing attitudes of love and respect for It (2 Timothy 3:15-17; 2 Peter 1:20-21)

Evangelism:  To give each student opportunity to accept Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord (Romans 10:9-10; 1 Timothy 2:3;   2 Peter 3:9)

Christian Character:  To teach Biblical qualities of character (1 Samuel 16:7; Galatians 5:22-25)

Respect for Leadership:  To teach the student respect for and submission to authority (Romans 13:1-7; Ephesians 6:1-3; Hebrews 13:17)

Self Discipline:  To encourage the student to develop self-discipline and responsibility from God’s perspective (2 Peter 1:3-11)

Parent/School Partnership:  To partner with parents in reinforcing the above values (Proverbs 22:6; Philippians 1:3-6; Colossians 3:17)

Value Relationships and Diversity:  To teach the student to respect and value every person (Galatians 3:28-29; Philippians 2:1-5)

Responsibility:  To teach the student responsibility to be a valuable member of the community (Galatians 5:13-14; Romans 12:9-21)

Christian Citizenship:  To teach good citizenship and patriotism through an understanding and appreciation of our Christian and American heritages (home, church, nation) (Joshua 1:6-9; 24:13-18)

Biblical Truth:  To teach the basic fundamental truths of the Bible (2 Timothy 3:14-17)

Christian Development:  To help each student to develop his/her identity in Christ and to develop his/her highest potential (Ephesians 3:14-21; Hebrews 3:20-21; 2 Peter 3:18)

Academic Excellence:  To teach the various academic disciplines and their importance in our society (Psalm 25:4-5)
